Verify us before
you trust us.

Crypto attracts impersonators, and a real company should make itself easy to check. Here is how to confirm you are dealing with the real Crypto Renegades, how we will and will not contact you, and what to do if someone uses our name.

What we will never do

  • Message you first on WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram or text to offer an investment opportunity.
  • Ask for your seed phrase, private keys, exchange password or two-factor codes.
  • Ask you to send crypto to a wallet, or to deposit funds with us so we can trade on your behalf.
  • Promise you a return, a win rate or a specific profit.
  • Pressure you to decide during a call.

If someone claims to be us

Impersonators have posed as Niko, Chad and members of our team for years, including fake assistants who reach out by text or direct message. The pitch is usually an "inner circle" where you send crypto to a platform they chose. We have no such program. Three tells: they messaged you first, there is no verification check mark, and the account is thin. Our official profiles carry the platform's verification mark. Stop the conversation, do not send money or crypto, and report it to us. We will tell you whether the account is ours.

Research us the way you would research anyone

Read our reviews where they were written, look up our founders, and confirm our business address. A legitimate education company welcomes the questions.

Verification questions

  • Research us before you trust us. Crypto Renegades is run by its two named founders, Niko Mercuris and Chad Wittfeldt, from a business address in Tarpon Springs, Florida, with public reviews on Google and Trustpilot. Look up the founders, read the reviews where they were written, and use our verification page to confirm official channels. Part of what we teach is how the common crypto scams work, because scammers target people looking for an easy button, and there is none.

  • Crypto Renegades started in a Facebook Messenger chat between Niko and Chad in 2020. Since then more than 2,000 people have gone through the Mastermind, more than 7,000 have joined the free Facebook group, and many more have followed the free trainings, live sessions and our scam prevention guide.

  • No. We never manage positions or capital on your behalf, and we will never ask you to send us crypto. You keep full control of your own accounts and make your own decisions.

  • No. We provide general education. We do not provide individualized financial, investment, legal or tax advice. When instructors share their own positions and reasoning inside the community, it is for teaching, and every member makes their own decisions.

  • Stop the conversation and do not send money or crypto. We never message people first with investment offers, and we never ask for keys, passwords or deposits. Report the account through our contact page and we will confirm whether it is ours.

  • Our business address is 40946 US Highway 19 North, Tarpon Springs, Florida 34689. The program runs online, so members join the live sessions and the community from wherever they are.

  • Reviews are written by members on Google and Trustpilot, and we link to both so you can read them where they were posted. We ask the whole membership for reviews, openly, on live calls and in the community, including people who are unhappy with us. No member has ever been paid, discounted or otherwise compensated for a review, interview or testimonial, and nobody is told what to say. Case studies are long-form interviews in the member's own words. Any figures a member mentions are their own account of their own experience, we do not verify them, and they are not typical. We do not publish win rates or average results, because nobody can promise results and individual outcomes vary widely.

  • Almost certainly not. We never message people first, we never manage anyone's crypto, we never run giveaways and we never ask you to deposit on a platform we chose. Check three things: did they message you first, does the profile carry a verification check mark, and how old and active is the account. A real profile has years of posts and thousands of connections; an imposter has a handful of posts and a few friends. If you are unsure, report the account through our contact page and we will confirm whether it is ours. Chad walks through real imposter profiles, and how to tell them from the real thing, in the video.
